Opening ceremony of new mega concrete batching plant with large scale aggregate storage facility was held on 23rd March 2016

Alliance is pleased to announce the opening ceremony of new mega concrete batching plant with large scale aggregate storage facility located at Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.

 

We had more than 100 guests attended the event on 23rd March 2016, including Directors of Alliance, business partners, working partners and our management team.

 

Our project team together with senior officials officiated the ceremony, namely Lambert Leung (Director of Alliance), Ivan Chan (Director of Alliance), David Hogan (CEO of Alliance), George Blaney (Director of HUD), Vincent Yu (General Manager of Alliance), Ross Chow (General Manager of Alliance), Nelson Pang (Finance and Admin Manager of Alliance).

The plant and aggregate storage facility are a long term commercial facility located at Sai Tso Wan Road at Tsing Yi Island. The plant consists of three production lines with designed maximum production capacity of 3000m3 per day.

 

The plant is designed by the Alliance Engineering Team with new and advanced features. Raw material filling and the batching systems are operated and controlled with world class automatic features in order to enhance engineering reliability and operational efficiency. Commercial production is expected to commence in April of 2016.

 

Alliance CEO, David Hogan, mentioned in his opening remark,” Today, Alliance operates a total 7 concrete plants with 11 production lines, with quarries and aggregate depots in both Hong Kong and mainland China. The Sai Tso Wan concrete plant and aggregates storage facility further add to our capabilities and increases our concrete production lines to 14. Plans are afoot to start construction in 2016 of another large concrete plant in Tsing Yi with two production lines. Plans have been submitted for a mega concrete plant and aggregate depot in the Western New Territories with construction expected to start in 2018.”

 

Plant tour was arranged by end of the event while refreshment was served.
