Alliance cares about the Community

UNICEF Charity Run

Our Alliance running team limbered up and put our best foot forward to run in the recent half marathon and 10km UNICEF Charity Run held on Sunday 29th November 2015.

Alliance is always enthusiastic and in substantial committing to sporting and charity events within the community. Alliance believes that a healthy and vigorous body is of significant importance for work life balance, and we welcome sporting events that help promote healthy and balance lifestyle.

‘The charity run not only challenges our physical abilities, but also allows our Alliance team to make a valuable contribution to a laudable cause. Running is only a small part of the bigger picture, which is the charity event itself. We strive to bring positive change into action and embrace the spirit of giving at the approaching festive season,’ said Mr. David Hogan, Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Construction Materials Limited, who also joined the Charity Run.

Spreading Holiday Cheer to Elderly

Christmas is a special time of the year to spend with one’s family and friends. This December 18, volunteers from Alliance spent an afternoon with elderly at Tai Po Kwong Fuk Community Hall to spread some holiday cheer.

In addition to playing games and presenting Christmas gifts, Alliance sponsored flu vaccination to the elderly through United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service to protect themselves from influenza.

The most satisfying part of the visit? Without a doubt, it was seeing the big smiles of our new friends. Taking on social responsibility as a core value of our business is the basis for operating responsibly. We play an important role in building Hong Kong and we see ourselves as a part of its growth.
