Important Notice: Advisory on Fraudulent Recruitment Communications
Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance” or the “Company”) has recently received reports of individuals falsely claiming to represent Alliance’s Human Resources Department and contacting job seekers by telephone or messaging apps.
We take the security of job applicants and the proper use of the "Alliance" name seriously. We therefore remind job seekers to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited recruitment communications, particularly through messaging apps such as WhatsApp or other unofficial channels.
To protect yourself, please note:
1. Verify recruitment communications
Please verify any recruitment approach, interview invitation or job offer through the Company's official recruitment channels, namely the careers page
https://www.concrete.hk/en/job-opportunity , or directly with Alliance HR before providing personal information. Genuine communications from Alliance HR are sent from an @concrete.hk email address or through our official platforms.
2. Do not make payments
Alliance does not require candidates to make payments, pay processing fees or equipment deposits as part of our recruitment process. If you receive such a request claiming to be from Alliance, do not make any payment.
3. Protect your personal information
Do not provide sensitive personal, financial or banking information in response to an unsolicited recruitment communication until you have verified its authenticity. Alliance will not ask for a copy of your Hong Kong Identity Card before an offer is accepted, nor for information about your friends, family or other contacts. If you have concerns about the handling of your personal data, you may call the enquiry line of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data at 2827 2827.
4. Contact us if in doubt

6. If you have already been affected
If you have provided personal or banking information, or made a payment, please contact your bank immediately and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force. You may also call the Anti-Scam Helpline 18222.
