Website Launch

We are excited to be refreshing our website with new content and layout that will be launching by the end of the year. It has been years since our website was last refreshed and much has changed in our business - with new plants, new products and projects. 

It is very often the first impression of a company is made on the website. When we want to check out a company or an industry, the first place we would go is a search engine, followed by the first few websites we see that are related. When we see a website rich in content, a great impression is made, making us want to explore further. However, if the website is bland with uninteresting content, we will simply hit the ‘back’ button with a bad impression. That is why our website needs to be rich in content describing our company and industry and optimized for search engines to easily read it and rank it higher in the search results. With that in mind, our team has been working hard over the last few months to prepare the content that will be presented onto our website. 

Our major theme for this website is to capture the human aspects of Alliance. In the past, we have concentrated on our plants and products. We would like to add the human aspects of Alliance on top of that with this refresh. We believe that this will bring life into our website and make it more interesting for our audiences. For that, we have been conducting photo sessions in many of our plants and site offices, capturing our teams while they are working and their emotions during the interactions. 

In terms of technology, we will be using the content management system Drupal, one of the most popular open source web platforms used for websites.  This platform allows us to incorporate different types of multimedia such as photo banners, video clips and interactive calculators easily. Our team can also easily update their section of the website easily. Drupal will allow our team to bring new content and make periodic refreshes easier, bringing new life to our site in a shorter period of time. 

Our new website also will give us a great platform to communicate news, special events and employment opportunities and we will be able to reach out to our employees and different audiences efficiently. We look forward to presenting our next edition of the newsletter directly from our new website. By the end of this year, we will launch our website and you will be able to enjoy a refreshed website with content on a different level.
